Responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theoretical sessions across Tile & Slate and Flat Roofing apprenticeships
- Support apprentices in developing industry-standard skills and knowledge
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Monitor learner progress and provide feedback where required
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Roofer who wants to move away from the tools and into a new permanent teaching career. This role will support the delivery of both Tile and Slate Roofing and Flat Roof apprenticeship programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofing professional or construction trainer with experience in further education or apprenticeships to step into a well-established programme and support learner progression.
Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience in roofing (essential)
- Experience delivering training or working with apprentices/learners (preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
