Chef Job Description
As a Chef working in one of our partnered care homes, respite services, or rehabilitation units, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of the residents. You will work closely with the care team to ensure all meals are nutritious, well-balanced and enjoyable.
Chef Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare a varied menu that meets the nutritional needs of residents and patients.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.
- Cater for specific dietary requirements, including allergies and special diets.
- Work within a budget while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Manage kitchen staff, including training and scheduling.
- Order and manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Engage with residents and patients to receive feedback and make improvements to the menu.
