The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at The Coach Makers Arms, our beloved Marylebone institution known for its buzzy atmosphere, refined British cooking, and high standards of craft. As a Senior Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section with confidence and precision, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes using the best seasonal and responsibly sourced produce. You’ll lead by example, uphold consistency, and help drive the pace and quality expected from one of the area’s most respected dining pubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your section with confidence, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Cook with fresh, seasonal produce from respected suppliers and artisans.
  • Support the Sous and Head Chef with prep, service, and quality control.
  • Help guide and support junior chefs to develop their skills.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen organisation.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, professional, and ambitious kitchen culture.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie, or a strong CDP ready to step up.
  • A real passion for modern and classic British cuisine.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in high-volume or high-pressure services.
  • A calm, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
  • Drive to grow, learn, and progress within a respected hospitality environment.
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK.
