Inspired by master architect Thomas Cubitt, we honour London’s heritage by creating vibrant spaces that feel both elegant and welcoming. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join one of our Cubitt House sites in London. This is a key leadership role within a food‑driven pub, where destination dining, exceptional service, and high‑quality seasonal ingredients are at the heart of everything we do. As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the restaurant operation day to day, working closely with the General Manager and kitchen team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will be passionate about food and hospitality, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoy building, developing, and motivating a strong team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring service standards are consistently met and exceeded.
- Lead, train, and inspire the front‑of‑house team to deliver warm, confident, and professional service.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen to ensure seamless service and excellent communication.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, and floor plans to optimise both guest experience and commercial performance.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Actively engage with guests to ensure memorable visits and encourage repeat business.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar Restaurant Manager role, ideally within a luxury high volume business.
- A genuine passion for food, drink, and hospitality.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a hands‑on leadership style.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider management team.
- Comfortable working in a busy, high‑volume environment.
- Curious, motivated, and keen to learn and grow within the role.
- Eligible to work in the UK with a National Insurance number (or in the process of obtaining one).
