Join the opening pastry team at Alfie’s, our elegant first-floor restaurant at The Alfred Tennyson in Belgravia — part of the independent Cubitt House collection of beautiful London pubs and dining rooms.
We’re looking for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie who brings both technical precision and creative flair to the plate. You\’ll be responsible for delivering consistently beautiful desserts, baked goods and pastry-led dishes that complement our seasonal British menu.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the pastry section from mise en place to service
- Create and plate elegant puddings, tarts, cakes, breads and baked accompaniments
- Work closely with the Head Chef on seasonal menu development
- Ensure high standards of consistency, flavour and presentation
- Manage stock, reduce waste and keep your section organised and spotless

- A confident pastry chef with experience in high-quality restaurants or hotels
- Passion for classic and modern pastry techniques
- A calm, focused approach in service and prep
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and pride in what you do
