Commis Chef - £14-16/hour OTE (Including Tronc)
We're looking for a Commis Chef to join the team at our Cubitt House Pub.
The ideal candidate has a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your section with confidence, consistency, and pride.
- Prepare and present dishes to Cubitt House standards.
- Support senior chefs with daily prep, service, and kitchen organisation.
- Work with fresh, seasonal, sustainable British ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation.
- Contribute to menu development and kitchen creativity.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a quality kitchen.
- Solid understanding of classic techniques and seasonal cooking.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Genuine passion for food, craft, and hospitality.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK.
