UK AOC Compliance Engineer – Aberdeen – Aviation Safety & Compliance We are currently seeking a UK AOC Compliance Engineer to join a busy and respected team based in Aberdeen. This is a key role supporting the ongoing safety, airworthiness and regulatory compliance of aviation operations. You will report to the Safety and Compliance Manager (via the Compliance Lead) and be instrumental in ensuring that all maintenance activities meet the highest standards, in line with UK CAA, EASA, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform internal and external audits across Part 145, Part CAMO, Part 66 and Part 147 environments. Ensure safety and compliance monitoring systems are robust, effective, and well documented. Monitor non-conformance findings and follow through to closure with corrective and preventative actions. Conduct investigations into maintenance errors, identify root causes, and present findings to Event Review Groups. Carry out safety and compliance oversight of subcontractors and third-party suppliers, both remotely and on-site. Assist with hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation planning as part of a proactive SMS. Act as company representative during client liaison and CAA inspections. Requirements: Must have the right to work and reside in the UK. Proven background in aviation maintenance or engineering (essential). Strong working knowledge of UK CAA and EASA regulations including Part 66, Part 145, CAMO, and Part 147. Prior auditing experience within aviation environments (essential). Familiar with SMS principles, risk management, and performance-based auditing. Excellent communication and reporting skills – verbal and written. Willingness and ability to travel within the UK at short notice. Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Desirable Qualifications/Experience: CAA/EASA Part 145, Part CAMO, Part 66 or Part 147 formal training. AS9100 or ISO 9001:2015 audit qualification. Maintenance error investigation experience.
