A space engineering organisation is looking for a Senior AIV Engineer to support in-orbit services and spacecraft missions across the UK and Europe. This is a six-month contract with hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Assembly, Integration, and Validation (AIV) for spacecraft projects
Plan resources, coordinate teams, and manage day-to-day AIV activities
Develop and maintain spacecraft test environments and hardware setups
Define test strategies, execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and report verification status
Improve AIV processes, provide technical guidance, and support training Requirements
Degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Physics, or similar
8+ years\β AIV experience, ideally across full project lifecycles
Knowledge of verification and validation methods
Experience managing xiskglj complex technical tasks
Space sector experience is a strong advantage Desirable
Innovative and delivery-focused with strong engineering discipline
Flexible, eager to learn, and able to work with international teams
Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
