Role Overview:

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative, practical, and cost-effective hardware and firmware solutions. The primary focus will be on advanced lighting systems, data acquisition products, and specialized electronic components for demanding environments (such as land, sea, or air). You may also be involved in the design of other electronic components as needed for various applications.

Required Qualifications & Essential Skills:

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • At least 1 year of practical hardware design experience in a relevant industry
  • Strong expertise in analogue and digital design, including:
  • Microprocessors/microcontrollers
  • Programmable logic
  • Embedded firmware/software
  • SMPS design
  • PCB design
  • Design for EMC
  • Schematic capture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily focus on hardware design, with possible involvement in firmware/software development.
  • Work on new design projects as well as support existing production and other company areas.
  • Develop designs that manage the electrical, optical, and thermal performance of LED lighting systems.
  • Present electronic designs to project stakeholders during design reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date design documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in firmware development using C
  • Knowledge of military/avionics design requirements, including EMI/EMC specifications
  • Familiarity with Altium Designer
