Job Description Mechanical Design Engineer | £40,000 | Dover, Kent We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the development of electromechanical products, taking mechanical designs from initial concept through to production release. The role will involve: ~3D CAD design and detailed engineering drawings ~ Concept development through to manufacture ~ Electromechanical assemblies and product enclosures ~ Plastics, sheet metal and machined components ~ DFMA and material/process selection ~ Supporting production and resolving post-release design issues ~ Working closely with electronics and manufacturing engineers We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ mechanical design experience and a track record of developing products for manufacture. SolidWorks experience would be useful, although experience with comparable 3D CAD packages will be considered.
