Overview
CubicWorks is a new business that concentrates on and delivers construction refurbishments and fit outs, taking tried and tested formulas, shaking them up, then delivering for customer success. We design and create extraordinary spaces through our unique collaborative position with customers and partners. To deliver solutions sustainably, transparently and with integrity.
We are looking for a Site Manager to form part of our Site Operations team who is able to demonstrate experience in managing suite refurbishments, working very closely with site coordinators and the coordination of site, trades, health and safety, along with experience of supporting the Project Manager in “right first time” construction. The role plays a vital part in the delivery of multiple high-quality projects.

As a Site Manager:
- Liaise with the Project Manager regarding client requirements and overall project specification and programme.
- Be responsible for the completion and maintenance of the on-site Construction Safety Manual.
- Undertake site setup relevant to project size and scale, including the organisation of relevant standard PPE, signage and site setup materials.
- Be responsible for arranging, carrying out or overseeing site inductions for internal/external trades and visitors.
- Understand the schedule of works being delivered for a project(s) and provide issued drawings/space plans to the relevant trades.
- Have the ability to supervise Project Team Members.
- Coordinate the delivery and distribution of materials on-site.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all company Health and Safety processes, policies and procedures, and promote compliance across site(s).
- Openly report any incidents or near misses using the provided online form.
- Produce and issue detailed snagging reports.
- Assist with site closure, including removal of site signage, off-hiring of hire equipment, and arranging removal of any skips.
- Ensure the site is left clean and tidy, ready for handover to the client.
- Build great relationships with all colleagues, especially project and site managers.
- Carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
The right person would also have the following qualities:
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience within the building trade or construction fit out and refurbishment sector and holds SMSTS (preferably) and an up-to-date First Aid at Work certificate.
- A confident communicator who likes to work collaboratively and is comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to undertake relevant construction-based training (including NEBOSH, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasive Wheels, IPAF, PASMA etc).
