We have recently started to deliver Facilities Management services and we are looking for a proactive Electrician with exceptional customer service and organisational skills to join this team, working together with the rest of our Facilities Team to achieve our ambitious goals.

As an Electrician in our FM team you will:
- Be based in Leeds, working predominantly across our buildings in Leeds City Centre. Occasionally we might ask you to support our other locations in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.
- Work effectively with a central helpdesk team to ensure work is running in line with the programme, that KPI’s are met and that we are communicating with our customers to ensure they understand what activities are being undertaken.
- Have fault‑finding and reactive repairs experience.
- Be responsible for ensuring service paperwork is completed to a high quality, promptly, and stored in the agreed locations.
- Pull quotations together for electrical work.
- Provide advice and guidance to both our in‑house Facilities Management team and clients on electrical issues.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation and other regulations relating to facilities maintenance.
- Build great relationships with all colleagues and customers.
- Other duties as needed.
- Be provided with a company van and fuel card for business use. All tools and equipment are provided by the company.
The right person would also have the following qualities:
- Qualified electrician (e.g. Level 2 or 3 NVQ / City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382) certificate.
- It is not essential, but would be desirable if you had Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-50) and/or Periodic Inspection Testing and Certifications of Electrical Installations (C&G 2391-51 or equivalent).
- PASMA / IPAF is desirable but training can be provided.
- Someone who is highly organised, has meticulous attention to detail and is passionate about quality.
- Someone is comfortable with a range of IT applications, producing high‑quality, professional documentation.
- Someone good at problem‑solving and taking the initiative to resolve issues quickly.
- Someone comfortable working with an apprentice/trainee, day‑to‑day basic supervision and mentorship.
