Painter and Decorator β CubicWorks is a new business focusing on construction refurbishments, delivering for customer success with an agile mindset in a fast-paced environment. We design, create and maintain extraordinary spaces through a collaborative approach with customers and partners, delivering solutions sustainably, transparently and with integrity. We have started to deliver Facilities Management services and are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join the team, delivering high quality, snag-free painting and decorating works alongside other site-based trades to achieve ambitious goals.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all types of painting and decorating works, ensuring the standard of works is to the highest quality.
- Work on multiple buildings across Manchester and Liverpool, with some travel to Leeds and Birmingham necessary.
- Communicate regularly with a central helpdesk team to ensure jobs are attended on time and deadlines are met to stay on programme.
- Review drawings and ensure work is carried out in accordance with instructions given.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company's Health & Safety regulations.
- Build great relationships with all colleagues and customers.
- Carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
- Order materials.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications / Qualities
- Experience within the construction fit out and refurbishment sector, or experience delivering Facilities Management services (essential).
- Highly organised, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Confident communicator who enjoys collaborative work and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
