Job Summary: To rework, upgrade and test electronic products in a Repair Centre Environment, working 4 days on, 4 days off, from 7am to 7pm. You will be involved in supporting an upgrade program to supply our Field Services team with a constant flow of products to ensure a successful outcome. All work performed will need to be captured on a database and needs to be carried out as per the instructions provided.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Rework products, load software applications and perform functional testing on electronic based equipment.
- Capture rework detail in a database.
- Achieve daily rework targets.
- Liaising with Repair Centre management and other departments to deal with problems and inquiries.
- Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including but not limited to Cubic's Quality Management System, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and Security standards.
- Maintain the quality standard required by ISO 9000.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills knowledge and experience:
- Desirable: Some work experience in a repair environment.
- Able to demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in repairs, engineering, or technology.
Education and qualifications:
- Desirable: Qualifications or relevant experience in Engineering, Electronics, Electro-mechanical or manufacturing.
- Essential: 5 GCSE's or equivalent, and must have Maths and English.
