Job Summary: Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer and a member of the transformation team, the Director Program, Transformation Office will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, execution, and analytics of an enterprise-wide transformation program encompassing 200+ initiatives aimed at targeted EBITDA improvement. They will drive program execution, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple business functions, and maintaining rigorous oversight of initiative progress. This individual will also be responsible for managing the operating system that governs initiative reporting and execution methodologies. Additionally, the role includes preparing high-impact presentations and reports for the Chief Digital Officer to share with key sponsors and senior leadership.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the transformation program. Ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with the company's overall strategic goals. Lead cross-functional teams to drive program execution and impact.
- Program Tracking & Analytics: Oversee the development and maintenance of a tracking and reporting system for all transformation initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely data collection. Analyze initiative performance, dependencies, risks, and financial impact to drive data-driven decision-making. Provide visibility into program execution; monitor milestones deliverables and flag potential roadblocks to ensure strategic alignment and risk mitigation.
- Enterprise-Wide Coordination & Execution Oversight: Collaborate across key business functions, including Sales, Service, Engineering, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Projects, Procurement, and HR to ensure seamless initiative execution. Manage program interdependencies, ensuring alignment between different initiatives and functions. Devise and implement outcome-based solutions to support initiative owners, providing best practices, governance frameworks, and execution methodologies to drive efficiency and measurable impact.
- Operating System Management: Define, implement, and manage the operating system that facilitates initiative tracking, governance, and reporting. Ensure initiative leaders adhere to the defined execution methodology, fostering consistency and efficiency. Continuously refine and improve program management processes and tools to enhance visibility, accountability, and results.
- Executive Reporting & Presentation Development: Prepare high-impact reports and presentations for the Chief Digital Officer to present to key stakeholders, including sponsors and senior leadership of the parent company. Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights to drive executive decision-making. Provide thought leadership on how to communicate program performance, risks, and opportunities effectively.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Program Execution: Proven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives with multi-functional stakeholder coordination at a director level. Demonstrate the ability to define program goals & key milestones. Effectively monitors progress, tracks milestones, and manages resources to ensure contractual compliance and successful program execution.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Strong background in data analytics, financial tracking, and performance reporting. Prior experience of creating reports for C-level executives. Prior experience of program management tools, dashboards and data visualization platforms.
- Operating & Governance Model: Expertise in operating model, governance model design and implementation. Able to provide best practice tools and guidance.
- Financial Management: Strong financial management with a track record of meeting goals and objectives. Demonstrates capability of monitoring program using KPI’s and mitigate business risks.
- Communication: Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, including senior executives, governmental agencies, and cross-functional teams. Skilled at public speaking and presenting complex data in a clear and coherent manner.
- Stakeholder Management: Evidence the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally. Proven record of developing customer relationships proactively manages expectations and addresses concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and program success.
- Influencing: Exhibits strong influencing skills, ability to drive alignment and achieve results.
- Personal: Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and drive to execute on commitments. Consistently sets and achieves ambitious goals, showing a strong orientation towards results.
Education & Experience: Four-year college degree, or equivalent in a relevant field including business, program management or engineering. Advanced degree in business, program management, or engineering preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management and/or transformation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
