b Overview /b p In this role you will apply deep technical expertise to support Cubic’s Transportation technologies in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You’ll troubleshoot incidents, manage tickets, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolutions and ongoing improvements. The position combines hands-on patching, scripting, and security tasks with cross-functional project work and documentation. You’ll contribute to service excellence under pressure and help optimize IT processes. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Resolve technical queries from field maintenance, projects, and customers, ensuring timely resolution /li li Proactively manage incident management queues and meet KPI-driven targets /li li Escalate bugs and issues to engineering via JIRA for resolution /li li Oversee monthly patching for Front End Devices across Windows and Unix environments (Ivanti EPM preferred) /li li Create/update ad-hoc scripting for Linux (Bash/T-SQL) and Windows (PowerShell) patching /li li Assist with vulnerability scanning and coordinate with Information Security /li li Troubleshoot networking issues using standard protocols and cmdlets /li li Collaborate on delivery lifecycle for new/altered services and ensure smooth transitions /li li Support Client/Server Management platforms (Ivanti, VMware, Hyper-V, Repository Server) /li li Identify training needs from technical changes and document IT systems /li li Self-manage tasks under pressure and participate in on-call rotations /li li Document IT systems and contribute to continuous service improvement /li li Engage with stakeholders at all levels and drive cross-team collaboration /li li Stay current with IT industry developments and incorporate improvements /li li Ensure compliance with Cubic’s Quality, Health Safety, and Information Security policies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li At least 5 years of Windows Server experience (Windows Server 2008 R2 to 2022) /li li At least 3 years of Unix/Linux experience (Ubuntu, Red Hat) /li li Strong knowledge of Client/Server Management environments (Ivanti, VMware, Hyper-V) /li li Minimum 3 years of scripting experience (Linux Bash, T-SQL, Shell, PowerShell) /li li At least 3 years in security and patch management (Ivanti EPM preferred) /li li Infra experience on Windows/Unix platforms /li li Solid understanding of networking topologies, protocols, and cmdlets /li li Excellent organizational and time-management skills /li li Customer service background /li li Knowledge of ITIL and change management /li li Ability to work independently and in a team, in a pressured environment /li /ul ul li Customer-oriented /li li Strong communication /li li Team collaboration /li li Ivanti EPM /li li VMware /li li Hyper-V /li /ul
