Business Unit: Cubic Transportation Systems
Job Details: Responsible for reporting on all areas of the business unit sales and capture activities and leveraging their understanding of the business operations to produce meaningful analysis. Provides support to worldwide Business Development teams to ensure opportunity data is updated in Salesforce and Altify. Focuses on accuracy and timeliness of data to support wider business operations and decision making. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collate Business Development inputs from department and systems to provide insight to Corporate, CTS and BD teams, according to agreed schedules and standards.
- Work with the teams to ensure the data integrity of reports.
- Continuously review and improve processes to ensure pertinent, timely and accurate information.
- Ensure agreed standards are used.
- Key deliverables are information to support, at a minimum:
- CTS Monthly Operating Reviews
- Corporate Business Development Monthly Report
- Board Reports
- Bookings Reporting used in worldwide BD team management
- Top Opportunities Review
- Capture Reviews (using Altify)
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience in a sales operations or financial reporting role.
- Competencies in the use of Salesforce, Altify, Business Objects, SAP, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Able to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, fact finding and investigative techniques, oral and written communication, development of presentations and reports required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs to support a global team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support geographically dispersed teams.
- Good organizational skills and ability to anticipate requirements.
- Cultural awareness.
- Ability to travel (infrequent but essential to support and understand worldwide BD team needs).
