Job Details: As an apprentice within the Field Services area, you will work in a supported learning environment to develop skills and knowledge which will assist in completing a relevant qualification.
Job duties and responsibilities
- To undertake a development programme leading to a National Vocational Qualification as part of an apprenticeship
- Be willing to undertake any training and qualifications appropriate to the apprenticeship
- To actively participate in their own development plan which will be agreed with the line manager and the apprentice supervisor
- Attend college and complete assignments on time
- Complete projects, timings and budgets as set by the Manager/Apprenticeship Supervisor
- Gain skills required to carry out:
- Advise and contribute to the effective resolution of a wide range of general and complex technical issues escalated from field maintenance, project teams and external customers.
- Work collaboratively with resolver teams to ensure incidents are resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor and provide early life support on new products and services and handing these over to the System Support Manager once these are defined.
- Work with the System Support Manager to accurately identify any existing or planned technical changes that may adversely impact service delivery and recommend/implement contingency measures.
- Provide remote technical support for proactive diagnosis of maintenance problems to bring them to permanent and timely resolutions and/or interim workarounds.
- To aim at maintaining quality principles compatible with current ISO standards.
- Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security and occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager from time to time, as reasonably required.
