Job Details:
This role is responsible for providing maintenance and repair of client equipment on Cubic maintained assets under the guidance of the Field Services Team Leader and provide support to the Maintenance Engineer.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance
- Assist with faults and ensure the use of a logical approach to fault finding
- Ensure all activities are performed safely and to a high standard
- Ensure asset maintenance is reported in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure personal administration is completed in a timely manner, for example timesheets and vehicle checks
- Provide support to the Maintenance Team Leader & Engineer
- Perform minor civil works & site clearance
- Work to Cubic Safe Systems of Work guidelines, as required for contractual compliance
- Attend and proactively participate in the Maintenance Team meetings
- Deputies for the Engineer when required
- Work in a shift pattern
- Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, particularly the code of conduct, quality, security and occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them
Minimum Job Requirements:
Skills knowledge and experience:
- Essential: Relevant experience in similar role, including maintenance of equipment
- Experience of working in teams
- Mechanical, electrical or electronic aptitude
- PC Literate
- Full Driving License
- Desirable: Microsoft Office skills
- Minor civils experience
Education and qualifications:
- Essential: Qualified to ONC or BTEC in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Desirable: C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing qualified
- C&G 3667-02, units 102/103 Fiber optic cabling/testing or equivalent
- NHSS8 accreditation
- Hold G39
- Hold IPAF, ASLEC approved, NRSWA units 1 to 9 qualification
