We are looking for a talented, experienced Thai or Southeast Asian chef to join our growing independent restaurant business as Deputy Head Chef. Our restaurant is known for its bold, deep southern, rich and fiery flavours, cooked with authenticity, respect, and passion. This role is perfect for a chef who truly understands Thai flavours, balance, spice, and technique, and wants to grow into a Head Chef position as the business expands.

About The Role

  • Lead kitchen service and ensure consistently high standards
  • Prepare and execute authentic Thai dishes using traditional techniques
  • Support menu development, specials, and seasonal dishes
  • Manage stock, ordering, and food cost controls
  • Train and mentor junior chefs
  • Uphold exceptional food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards

This is a hands-on leadership role, not an office position.

  • Experienced Thai or Southeast Asian chefs
  • Strong CDPs ready to step up or Junior Sous / Sous Chefs
  • Chefs with a deep understanding of Thai flavours, pastes, sauces, and spice balance
