Job Role

As a Stores Operative with Forklift and valued member of the team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • To work within the Inventory team to pick, pack and deliver materials from our main store locations into our production lines in support of production programs.
  • To ensure material movements are recorded timely within our material control system and material discrepancies, damage and additional material requests are captured and reported.
  • To liaise directly with production operatives and production team leaders to respond to any schedule changes that require material support.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised to work safely at all times whilst delivering excellent levels of housekeeping in order to maintain a safe working environment for all.

Person Profile

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

  • A valid Forklift/Counterbalance Licence
  • Stock control and goods in/goods out experience gained within manufacturing/construction/related industry
  • Accurate data entry skills including the use of an IT stock system - preferably SAP experience
  • Ability to follow procedures and conform to quality standards
  • Planning and Organisation Skills
  • Problem Solving/Analytical thinking
  • Decision Making
  • Good level of Numeracy/Literacy

Hourly Rate: £14.60 per hour, rising to £16.94 after 12 weeks of employment

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am till 4:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am till 12:30 pm. There is the potential for the role to move onto shifts, so flexibility is required.
