The Role: You’ll be assembling and testing complex, high-precision OEM machinery in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include: * Mechanical assembly of machinery and tooling to customer specifications * Fault diagnosis, testing, and quality checking * Collaborating with engineers and supporting semi-skilled colleagues * Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready workspace * Assisting apprentices and mentoring new starters * Escalating issues and contributing to problem-solving investigations What You’ll Get: * Salary: £34,710 per annum (£17.80/hour) * Contract: Fixed-Term until end of 2025 * Holiday: 28 days rising to 33 after 12 weeks * Hours: Full-time, days (no nights!) * Pension: Enrolment after 12 weeks * Opportunity: Potential pathway to permanent work What We’re Looking For: * Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) * Minimum 2 years’ experience assembling industrial or manufacturing equipment * Ability to read engineering drawings and follow SOPs * Flexible, safety-first mindset and team player attitude * Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior colleagues This is more than just another contract—it’s a foot in the door with a world-class employer, and a role you can take real pride in
