Join a well-established, internationally respected manufacturer of specialist capital equipment, based at their Shipley site. This is a varied and commercially important coordination role sitting within the Sales department, offering real breadth across customer service, data and KPI reporting, order processing and internal liaison. This is an ongoing temporary position - ideal for someone with strong customer service experience, good commercial instincts and confidence working with data who is looking for a stable, full-time role with a reputable employer.
Compensation & Details
- Pay Rate: £15.74 per hour (£30,693 per annum equivalent)
- Contract: Ongoing temporary
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible start and finish times
- Annual Leave: 28 days for the first 12 weeks, rising to 33 days thereafter
- Location: Shipley
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for all incoming customer complaints - screening, allocating and investigating as appropriate
- Investigating, resolving and following up on complaints through to close
- Interpreting and collating data to produce KPI reports for both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Preparing quotations and processing orders in support of the wider Sales team
- Managing internal and external correspondence with professionalism and accuracy
- Liaising with other departments to progress customer queries and issues
- Providing cover across other areas of the Sales department as required
What We're Looking For
Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support environment
- Confident working with data and presenting KPI information
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders via telephone, email and face to face
- A second language would be an advantage
