We’re urgently recruiting experienced Semi-skilled Assembly fitters for a world-renowned engineering business with a proud legacy dating back to the 1930s based in Wortley.

The Role:
You’ll be assembling and testing complex, high-precision OEM machinery in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building Sub assembly’s using standard sop’s and fixtures.
* Preparing components for painting (washing and masking)
* Preparing painted components before assembly, such as re-tapping, reaming, and preparing machine surfaces.
* Marking off, drilling, and tapping.
* Fitting exterior equipment: examples include nameplates, labels, guard switches, guarding, hydraulic hoses, and auxiliary pumps.
* Routing steel and nylon pipework as directed.
* Fitting of non-electrical machine services before testing.
* Non-electrical stripping of machines before despatch.
What You’ll Get:
* Salary: £28,744 per annum (£14.74/hour)
* Contract: Fixed-Term until end of 2025
* Holiday: 28 days rising to 33 after 12 weeks
* Hours: Full-time, days (no nights!)
* Pension: Enrolment after 12 weeks
