Cubed Talent are working with a well-known manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation for innovation and quality. Our client has won multiple prestigious awards for their products including King's Awards for Enterprise for their innovation, international trade and sustainability.

We're recruiting for a Technical Operations Lead to ensure best practice/processes are being followed and all products are produced to the level of quality required whilst striving for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and ideally have knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 standards.

Salary: £14.70 per hour / c £28,500 per annum

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6.00am – 4.00pm

This role is centered around ensuring quality is delivered through every stage of the manufacturing process. The key responsibilities include:

  • Problem solving, 8D reports, Fishbone, 5 whys etc.
  • Internal process audits.
  • Hands-on approach to quality checks and preventative measures.
  • Lead role in sustainability and waste reduction.
  • Studying KPI Charts to stop defect trends.
  • Set and maintain quality standards throughout production.
  • Manage & report on non-conformance reports.
  • Incoming Goods inspections.
  • Support in operator training/development and performance improvement plans.
