Are you ready to be a crucial part of a team manufacturing specialist safety and defence equipment? Do you want to enhance your existing skill set? Ongoing temporary with permanent opportunities for those with the aptitude and attitude to perform in line with targets. The basics: * Working hours: Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 4pm, Friday 6:30am to 11:45am, totalling 40 hours per week. * Pay rates: starting at £13.00ph, with realistic opportunity to increase up to £15.50ph after training. Overtime is paid at a premium rate. * Annual leave entitlement: 6.2 weeks annual leave after 12-week qualifying period. * Contract type: Ongoing temporary with permanent opportunities for those with the aptitude and attitude to perform in line with targets. * Location: Stourton, Leeds – LS10. Free onsite parking and easy access by public transport. About the job: * Assembling of metal cages; connecting panels with spiral screws, inserting and stapling lining material, folding and transporting ready for dispatch * Using a staple gun and hand tools * After initial training, you will be working to achievable daily targets About you: * Previous construction or heavy assembly experience * Experience using hand tools * Willing and able to do heavy lifting and manual handling * Have attention to detail on quality and take pride in your work * Ability to work well as part of a team * An FLT Counterbalance licence would be beneficial, however is not a necessity About the company: Our client is a market leading manufacturer of security fencing, gates and access control around Europe.
