The predicted salary is between 28800 - 38400 £ per year.

£32,000 per annum working on a day shift, with the ability to earn up to £43K across other shift patterns (to meet the demands of the business). Working 37.00 hours per week, day shift 7:30am‑4pm Mon‑Thu & Fri 7:30am - 12:30pm. Overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

About the Role

As a CNC Precision Grinder, you will be at the heart of the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to produce complex, high-precision components that meet the exacting standards required by our Assembly, Aftermarket, and Spares departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft complex components to meet detailed specification requirements, working from engineering drawings and adhering to stringent geometric tolerances (Microns), to ensure the component meets all quality and conformity requirements.
  • Plan and manage your workload effectively, working with minimal supervision to achieve targets and KPIs.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of health and safety, always working in line with company directives.
  • Foster a 'Right First Time' mindset, always striving for excellence in every task.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shift changes as needed to meet business demands.

About You

  • Extensive experience operating and proving out CNC grinding machines (external/internal grinding), setting up components, grinding wheels, jigs, fixtures, and chucks.
  • You will hold a recognised qualification, NVQ Level 3 in CNC machining or equivalent and have demonstrable experience working with CNC grinding machines.
