Our client, a well-established, large-scale manufacturing business in Shipley operating within a global group, is recruiting a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity
This hands-on finance role has been created to provide real capacity in a busy finance function during a period of change. Working directly alongside the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of core month-end accounting activities and keep day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets to tight deadlines
- Maintaining the integrity of financial records across OneStream and JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems
- Supporting SOX compliance, internal and external audit requirements
- Coordinating with cost accountants and supporting the wider finance team
- Monitoring cost-saving initiatives and reporting on progress
- Acting as a key day-to-day contact for external reporting requirements throughout the year
What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified accountant – actively studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial finance environment
- Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
- Experience with JDE, SAP or IBS systems is advantageous
- Aware of SOX controls and audit processes
- A strong communicator who thrives on deadlines
