Air Freight Export Operator Bradford, West Yorkshire £32,000 per annum + company bonus Immediate start available Benefits: Company bonus scheme, pension, death in service cover About the Role A highly reputable international freight forwarder based in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Air Freight Export Operator to join a busy freight forwarding team in Bradford. This is a full-cycle export role covering sales support/quoting, operational execution, customs clearance, documentation, and shipment delivery. This is an immediate requirement for someone confident handling air export shipments end-to-end in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end air export shipments from booking through to final delivery * Provide freight quotations and support sales enquiries * Coordinate with airlines, agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams * Prepare and process export documentation including AWBs, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations * Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and IATA guidelines * Book cargo space and monitor flight schedules to meet deadlines * Track shipments and provide regular customer updates * Resolve operational issues including delays, documentation queries, and customs matters * Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure smooth internal communication * Deliver excellent customer service throughout the export process Requirements * Proven experience in air freight export operations is essential * Strong knowledge of customs procedures and export documentation * Ability to manage time-critical shipments under pressure * Excellent communication and customer service skills * High attention to detail and strong organisational ability Opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced freight environment
