Join our successful, innovative and prestigious client in the manufacturing industry in this part-time, flexible hours bookkeeping role. Key Responsibilities * Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and reconciling accounts. Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to enhance accuracy. * Manage accounts payable and receivables, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, follow-up on overdue accounts, and processing of incoming payments. * Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. * Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits. * Utilise accounting software such as Xero and other tools to streamline processes. * VAT preparation and returns. * Cashflow control and monitoring. * Perform daily scheduled bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. * Deal with any foreign currency transactions. * Deliver Expenditure Reviews * Running monthly journals. * Prepare monthly management accounts and other data/kpi’s to the senior leadership team. * Payroll About You Our client is looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with: * Extensive experience in both Xero software, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and teams. * Strong attention to detail, has methodical thinking and proactive time management skills. * Ability to handle confidential information. * A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
