Are you an experienced Air Freight Export Operator looking for your next challenge? A highly regarded international freight forwarder based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is recruiting for a skilled air freight professional to join their busy freight forwarding team on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start available. This is a full-cycle air export role covering everything from quoting and booking through to customs clearance, documentation, and final delivery. If you have a proven background in air freight export operations and thrive in a fast-paced freight environment, this could be the perfect move.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Managing end-to-end air export shipments from initial booking through to final delivery
- Preparing and processing export documentation including AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
- Ensuring compliance with IATA guidelines, international shipping regulations, and customs requirements
- Providing freight quotations and supporting the team with customer enquiries
- Coordinating with airlines, overseas agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams
- Booking cargo space and monitoring flight schedules to meet time-critical deadlines
- Tracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates throughout the export process
- Resolving operational issues including delays, documentation queries, and customs matters
- Maintaining accurate shipment records
