Role Summary
Lead and integrate CUBE's global infrastructure and production operations. This role oversees the full lifecycle of infrastructure—from traditional on-premise environments to cloud-native platforms—as well as Tier 2 Production Support. The Head of Infrastructure ensures scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure delivery across teams in Manila, Australia, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a global team responsible for 24x7 production support, on-prem infrastructure, and cloud operations.
- Build and scale integrated practices for operational health, performance, and security.
- Define infrastructure strategy across Azure, hybrid, and legacy environments, including modernization roadmaps.
- Establish best practices for incident response, monitoring, playbooks, and capacity planning.
- Govern infrastructure changes including CAB oversight, rollback planning, and risk management.
- Advance infrastructure automation and IaC maturity (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
- Partner with Help Desk, Security, and Architecture leads to align infrastructure with broader technical goals.
- Own metrics for uptime, cost optimization, alert fatigue, and service-level objectives (SLOs).
- Oversee change management including CAB governance, rollback strategies, and release pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with Help Desk, Security, and SRE teams for end-to-end operational reliability.
- Drive automation, documentation, and tooling maturity across both functions.
- Set and monitor KPIs for operational health, SLA adherence, and change performance.
- Lead team hiring, mentoring, and scaling across international time zones.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in infrastructure, SRE, or operations leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing both support and engineering/change delivery functions.
- Deep familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, and incident/change governance frameworks.
- Technical proficiency in Azure (preferred), AWS/GCP, VMWare, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, monitoring tools.
- Excellent organizational, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
