Role mission: CUBE have a key program to deliver a segment leading regulatory intelligence product as part of its ambitious growth plans. You will be responsible for organizing, managing, reporting, and delivering the program ensuring that project goals are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Direct internal and external parties to deliver the program ensuring alignment between different workstreams across engineering, product, operations, content and others.
- Develop and manage achievable high-level plans, risks and issues.
- Ensure comprehensive low level delivery plans are in place and aligned for all workstreams.
- Set delivery expectations.
- Ensure up to date communication in line with the agreed cadence.
- Ensure capacity management.
- Definition and ownership of programme governance.
- Deliver Executive level communication, clearly and effectively highlighting status any key changes against the overall plan and key milestones, articulating any key risks, issues and decisions needed.
- Ensure budget and delivery control where 3rd party delivery teams are used.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project scope.
- Ensure project milestones are met and report progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Manage risks and issues and take corrective measures as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage innovation within the team.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of delivering data centric software engineering programs with 40+ engineers over 12+ months within a small company environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Fast learner and able to execute at high velocity.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Understanding of PMP, PRINCE2, SAFE and other methodologies as tools that can be used to help delivery.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business subject.
