Highly successful, niche business is currently seeking a Transport and Route Planning Operations Manager. Great opportunity to join a very well established and continually expanding business within a fantastic industry.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on route efficiency and planning (multi drop routes).
- Direct line management of route officers to ensure routes are planned and sequenced in advance, and working with the Depot Manager.
- Looking at transport route efficiency, ensuring collections are made from all the customers.
- Manning the vehicles and planning around holidays with agency staff as required.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have experience in site operations management and route planning.
- Excellent communication, inter-personal analytical and Microsoft skills.
- The successful candidate will be able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach.
- A full driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings/training/site visits is essential.
Benefits:
In return you can expect a salary of around £37-40,000 per annum plus benefits working Monday to Friday days.
