An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join this highly successful and reputable waste management company with a nationwide presence, managing a team of new business field sales executives. This presents a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving industry and for a company that has grown organically in a measured and dynamic way over several years to be one of the market leaders in their field with an enviable reputation for customer satisfaction and delivery.

Day to day as Sales Manager you will be:

  • Overseeing and managing a team of up to 8 new business field sales executives covering the Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon and surrounding territory.
  • Dealing with KPI’s and strategies to bring the best out of the team as well as recruitment and day to day reactive management whilst adhering to Waste Management legislation and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Constantly monitor and oversee entry into new market sectors and develop new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with the Group Head of Sales and Marketing to provide data and feedback on the performance of the region, market analysis and team performance KPIs etc.

  • Have proven new business team sales management (preferably new business field sales teams) and leadership experience.
  • Have a hands-on approach and are used to working in a very dynamic and busy industry.
  • Have experience in waste management.
