Highly successful, niche business is currently seeking a Transport Planning Manager. Great opportunity to join a well established and continually expanding business within a fantastic industry. Excellent package on offer.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and improving overall operational performance of the site, with a focus on Routing efficiency / planning.
- The role will have direct line management of operational drivers (HGV) and administrative staff.
- Ensuring all 13 HGV vehicles are manned appropriately to ensure smooth operations.
- Being aware of all activity on site including opening and closing.
The successful candidate will have experience in logistics / operations management and route planning of multiple high volume pick ups. With excellent communication, inter-personal analytical and Microsoft skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and have management experience, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and have a flexible approach.
A full driving licence and flexibility to travel for meetings/training/site visits is essential. In return you can expect a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 pa benefits working Monday to Friday days.
