We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative with forklift counterbalance certification to join our dynamic logistics team on a full time permanent basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to join this fast growing company who offer excellent benefits and progression.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift counterbalance safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Manage stock levels using the handheld scanners, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and storage activities.
- Support materials handling tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving heavy or bulky items safely.
- Loading and unloading wagons.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift counterbalance certification recognised within the industry.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with hand held scanners is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
In return you can expect a salary of £27,371 plus a bonus of £100-£150 per month dependant on company performance plus a great range of benefits including 34 days holidays, free parking, pension, contributory private health care and more.
Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00 pm and an early finish of 2pm on a Friday.
