We are looking for a Service Sales Consultant to join our team and support customers by managing enquiries, processing sales orders, and ensuring a smooth, professional service from first contact through to completion. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys customer interaction, and can manage multiple live enquiries with accuracy and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to all inbound customer calls and emails within agreed timescales
- Proactively chase and close live enquiries
- Follow up existing enquiries with the aim to win or requote
- Monitor the sales inbox and acknowledge new leads promptly
- Create and process accurate quotations
- Log all activities within the CRM and convert live quotes into sales orders
- Maintain acceptable business margins
- Ensure all sales orders meet the Sales Order Acceptance Procedure
- Work with internal departments to resolve anomalies within required timescales
- Support account management activities, including organising visits and resolving issues
- Regularly follow up allocated leads and quotations
- Maintain a professional approach at all times
- Report any issues, delays or resource needs to the Head of Sales
Knowledge & Experience
- Understanding of electronic and electrical systems would be ideal but we will consider other candidates who have dealt with a technical product, mobile phones, IT etc
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Experience working with CRM systems
