The Production & Workflow Assistant is a hybrid role spanning production and operational workflow support. Alongside producing print work, the role plays an increasingly important part in scheduling upcoming work, planning ahead for production demands, and ensuring all assets, materials, and artwork are ready for each stage of the project lifecycle. This role acts as a central link between Studio, Production, and Project Management supporting fast and accurate output, keeping jobs on schedule, and ensuring the install team has everything they need before arriving on site. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively chase missing information are essential. The role requires strong technical knowledge, an eye for detail, and the ability to self-manage across departments to ensure whichever area needs support most receives it.

- Plan production tasks to ensure deadlines are met and the schedule stays on track.
- Chase Project Managers for missing artwork files, specifications, or approvals to prevent delays.
- Check shelves/stock areas and ensure all print, hardware, and graphics required for installs are ready the day before installation.
- Flag any at risk deadlines early and recommend solutions to the production manager.
- Maintain a clear overview of progressing, pending, and upcoming tasks.
- Oversee the ripping and setup of files for print, ensuring accuracy in bleed, resolution, and tiling based on job requirements.
- Run day to day large and small format print jobs, following project timelines and sales order specifications.
- Select and load correct materials for each job, optimising settings for best output.
- Conduct quality control checks on all jobs before they progress to finishing or installation.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Management and Installation teams to ensure accurate output and handover.
- Conduct final visual inspections of all print work for clarity, colour accuracy, and alignment.
- Trial new materials or production methods to improve output quality, turnaround time, or cost-efficiency.
- Provide insight into material choices for specific applications, supporting Project and Install teams with expert advice.
- Stay updated on industry innovations to help Cube stay competitive in output quality and production capabilities.
- From time to time, you may be required to assist the Production Manager with the procurement of goods and materials for specific projects.
- Provide ad hoc support across other departments when needed to help ensure smooth and timely delivery of work.
- Offer feedback or suggestions for improving processes, reducing waste, or improving efficiency across print operations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the business evolves and as needed, while keeping focus on excellent client service and operational efficiency.
