Role Overview
The Account Director plays a senior leadership role within Cube Branding, responsible for managing and developing key client relationships while overseeing the successful delivery of high value signage and branding projects. This role combines client services, commercial management, and project leadership. The Account Director acts as the primary point of contact for selected high level accounts, ensuring exceptional service, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining long term client partnerships. Alongside relationship management, the Account Director oversees projects from enquiry through to delivery, coordinating internal teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest possible standard. This individual sets the benchmark for communication, commercial awareness, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Manage and develop relationships with key and strategic client accounts.
- Act as the senior point of contact for high level clients, building trust and long term partnerships.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and ongoing account reviews.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and repeat business.
- Ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service, communication, and responsiveness.
- Handle escalated client issues professionally and efficiently, maintaining strong relationships throughout.
- Oversee projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery and installation.
- Lead on complex or high value projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and expectations are managed effectively.
- Scope projects accurately by identifying objectives, constraints, budgets, and delivery requirements.
- Ensure all enquiries are acknowledged promptly and progressed efficiently.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout project lifecycles to provide clarity, reassurance, and updates.
- Coordinate internal teams across design, production, and installation to ensure smooth project execution.
- Commercial Management & Quoting
- Build detailed quotations using ShopVox, applying strategic and commercially sound pricing.
- Ensure quotes are accurate, profitable, and aligned with project scope and client expectations.
- Follow up quotations proactively to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Monitor account profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiencies.
- Apply commercial judgement around pricing, timelines, discounts, and additional services where appropriate.
- Design & Production Coordination
- Ensure client briefs are clearly communicated internally to minimise revisions and maintain project efficiency.
- Oversee artwork approval processes and ensure production ready standards are met.
- Work closely with design and production teams to ensure deliverables align with client expectations and brand standards.
- Maintain awareness of production lead times, installation logistics, and operational requirements.
- Additional Duties
- Support wider business development initiatives and strategic growth opportunities.
- Contribute to improving systems, workflows, and client experience processes.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events where required.
