We are seeking a skilled and detail focused Bench Joiner to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high quality bespoke joinery items, working from technical drawings, and ensuring all products meet industry and company standards.

Workshop Production

  • Manufacture joinery components including doors, frames, windows, stair parts, cabinetry and bespoke items.
  • Use a full range of woodworking machinery such as panel saws, planers, spindle moulders, sanders.
  • Hand craft components using traditional and modern joinery methods.
  • Assemble products ensuring excellent fit, finish, and quality standards.

Quality & Compliance

  • Work closely with the Working Foremen, workshop team, and designers.
  • Support colleagues to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bench joiner in a workshop environment.
  • Strong practical joinery skills and craftsmanship.
  • Competent in the safe use of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Good understanding of timber materials, sheet goods, and hardware.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
  • Experience with CNC machinery or edge banding equipment.
  • Knowledge of window production for commercial or residential projects.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
