Role: Contract Occupational Therapist (Flexible Hours)
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join us on a flexible, contract basis, primarily working evenings and weekends. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional clinical work and contribute to the design of sensory experiences that directly impact users’ daily lives. You will play a key role in creating and refining sensory experiences within the Cubbie platform—using both clinical expertise and data insights to continuously improve outcomes for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sensory-based experiences to support regulation and wellbeing
- Apply clinical reasoning to tailor experiences for a range of neurodivergent needs
- Continuously iterate and enhance experiences based on insights and outcomes
- Collaborate with the wider Cubbie team to provide clinical input and guidance
- Support internal queries and contribute to ongoing product development
About You
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals or sensory processing differences
- Strong interest in sensory regulation and innovative approaches to therapy
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, flexible environment
- Curious, analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into improvements
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate clinical reasoning
Desirable:
- Sensory Integration (SI) training (Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner)
- Experience working in non-traditional or digital health environments
