Overview: Maintenance Stores Administrator (Fixed Term – 6 Months, 2 Days per Week) – Location: Kettering. Contract: Fixed Term, Part-Time (2 days per week). We are seeking a motivated and organised Maintenance Stores Administrator to join a small, dedicated Maintenance team in a manufacturing plant, on a fixed-term, part-time basis for six months. Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, this role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the Maintenance Department by managing stock, purchase orders, and invoicing processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the availability of spare parts, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Stock Management: Monitor purchase orders, expedite suppliers to avoid stock-outs, and maintain recommended stock levels.
- Invoice Authorisation: Approve invoices via SAP/Kofax, resolving queries where required.
- Stock Control: Count and reconcile stock daily; report discrepancies for investigation and adjustment.
- Team Support: Assist with purchasing, booking in parts, relocating spares, printing work orders, picking parts, or covering colleagues during peak periods or holidays.
- SAP Revisions: Manage repair processes and returns.
- Courier & Export Management: Arrange FedEx UK and international shipments, including customs documentation.
