The predicted salary is between 25000 - 25000 £ per year.

The role will involve promoting the company’s services in a professional and FCA compliant manner. Initially starting as a Private Client Administrator supporting the Paraplanners within the team and working in collaboration with Private Client Advisers with progression towards becoming a Paraplanner or a Private Client Adviser, if desired.

Duties include:

  • Dealing with letters of authority, withdrawals, valuations, client queries and business packaging and processing.
  • Ongoing running of the IFA back-office system.
  • Preparation of annual review packs and meeting packs for IFAs.
  • Attending meetings with advisers and preparing follow up notes and reports.
  • Assisting with Estate Planning cases and ensuring client documents are handled accordingly.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and corporate schemes.
  • Preparing annual review packs for clients and assisting Private Client Advisers with the review process.
  • Committing to open and honest business practices in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the Paraplanners in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Enabling Paraplanners to prepare client financial plans and suitability reports.
  • Discussing client objectives with Paraplanners and Private Client Advisers, identifying and obtaining necessary information to compile financial reports.
  • Inputting data into the back-office system and ensuring it is maintained with current information.
  • Completing continuous professional development to meet best practice requirements and personal development needs.
  • Attending client meetings with Financial Planners as required.
  • Dealing effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication.
  • Liaising with product providers and other third parties to acquire additional information for assessing client arrangements and formulating recommendations.
  • Obtaining information, quotes, illustrations, and product details, and providing comparisons for analysis.
  • Using Company Systems and inputting Will and Trust cases for Private Client Advisers.
  • Making appropriate recommendations for service improvement.
  • Undertaking any other appropriate duties as may be required.
  • Attending and completing relevant training.
  • Co-operating with and participating in the business’s appraisal process.
  • Demonstrating support for the Firm’s development and values.

Key Knowledge and Required Skills:

  • Excellent administration skills and good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly and be a team player.
  • The ability to learn how to use different software used across the company.
  • Good communication skills, confident on the phone and in writing.
  • Competent with diary management.
  • PC literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Outlook/Word and a basic level of MS Excel.

This role may lead to the opportunity to develop as a Paraplanner or Private Client Adviser.
