We are currently looking for Catering Assistants to work in schools and care homes in Hertfordshire and London on temporary assignments. You must have a minimum of 3 months experience working as a catering assistant in a commercial kitchen and have checkable work references. It would be advantageous if you have your own car; however, we have work that is accessible with public transport.
You will be responsible for assisting the chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy and helping with general kitchen duties. You will have good communication skills and be able to work at a fast pace. A good understanding and training in food hygiene and allergens is advantageous, although training will be offered.
