JOB SUMMARY

Are you a Gas or Oil Heating Engineer and looking for your next opportunity? CTS-Cardo are seeking to recruit additional Electrical Inspection & Test Engineers for new contracts in the Belfast and South Down Areas.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out gas and oil servicing
  • Response maintenance as and when required
  • Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
  • Itemize the work to be carried out in customers' dwellings and premises
  • Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
  • Uphold Data Protection Policies
  • Travel across North & South Down as required
  • Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
  • Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
  • Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
  • Observe & follow all manual handling practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Suitable Candidates must possess:

  • Gas Safe and/or Oftec qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
  • Must be eligible for OFTEC and On Gas safe Register
  • Completed oil training courses
  • Evidence of gas courses either CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1 or others
  • Completed and up to date Gas qualifications and either be gas certified
  • Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry
