We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Materials Technician with at least 2 years of experience in materials testing to join our team. In this role, you will conduct on-site materials testing and analysis for various construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site testing of construction materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) according to UK industry standards (BS, EN, ASTM).
- Perform tests including plate testing, concrete cube making, and other relevant tests.
- Record and evaluate material performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain field-testing equipment and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve material-related issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of field-based experience in materials testing, specifically with concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
- Experience with field testing equipment.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety.
