In 2025, the CTS Microbiology Laboratory has firmly established a strong presence in the market and we are now seeking to employ an exceptional candidate who wishes to expand their career by joining Construction Testing Solutions at a very exciting time within our growth plans.
Role
- Check in with all drivers prior to starting as well as maintaining contact during the evening
- Ensure vehicle checks are completed daily and escalate reports of vehicle defects
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and servicing bookings
- Provide point of contact for drivers and troubleshoot issues encountered during the shift
- Arrange & schedule sample container deliveries
- Review and update the collection/delivery schedules to support client requests
- Upload collection & delivery requests onto the Labtrac software application
- Provide emergency driving cover (completing the collection routes as/when required)
- Perform other reasonable duties to support the logistics operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Very good oral, written and numeracy skills
- GCSE grade C or above in maths and English language (or equivalent)
- Highly computer literate (MS Office Applications)
- Previous work experience within logistics role would be advantageous but not essential
