We are seeking a proactive candidate to join the Warehouse Line Leader role in Wisbech, PE13 2RN.
Pay rates and typical working hours: Sun-Wed / Tue rotation 4 days in, 3 days off, then 3 days in, 4 days off.
Training: £13.60 per hour. Post-training: £14.60 per hour.
Duties as a Warehouse Line Leader:
- Manage, motivate, and train Warehouse Operatives to ensure tasks are understood and completed efficiently in line with Company policies.
- Ensure all customer orders are picked and loaded accurately according to requirements.
- Conduct and document all relevant checks in compliance with Company and legislative standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (Production, Planning, QA) and external partners (third-party hauliers) to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with business, legal, and customer requirements, addressing any breaches immediately.
- Ensure pickers and FLT drivers adhere to Company procedures at all times.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
