About this job

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Warehouse Operative in Widnes, WA8 0PB. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets.

The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available.

Your pay rate as a full time Warehouse Operative: Full time pay rates 4 on 4 off: £12.95 per hour increase to £13.64 after 12 weeks Part time pay

  • day £12.58/night £12.85 Typical working hours as a full time Warehouse Operative: You will be working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, paid breaks Day shift: 6am until 6pm Night shift: 6pm until 6am Part time roles start 8am/8pm 10hrs shift, no paid breaks Part-time workers must be flexible to work on both shifts day/night and working day might vary based on the operation needs Your role as a Warehouse Operative: Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning.

Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection.

Empty cages of cardboard onto the bailing machine ready for condensing.

Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all the work areas are kept clean and tidy.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate: No experience required

Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work.
